CLPA Showcases ‘One Network. One Solution.’ at SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg.

Nuremberg, Germany – 21 October 2024 – Global open automation network standards organisation the CC Link Partner Association (CLPA), will be showing their industry leading  open industrial Ethernet technology CC-Link IE TSN at this year’s SPS fair in Nuremberg, Germany from November 12 to 14, 2024 on stand 5-108.

At SPS, CLPA will show how CC-Link IE TSN fulfils the claim of ‘One Network. One Solution.’ This is based on how the technology enables converged network architectures that allow multiple traffic types to share the same cable, meaning that one network is all that’s required to deliver a solution. No longer is it necessary to use separate networks for safety, motion, I/O and TCP/IP traffic, reducing cost and complexity. This will be demonstrated with real-world systems showing these principles on the stand.

Moreover, the CLPA will also demonstrate how CC-Link IE TSN offers benefits to all industrial automation communities. This includes end users, machine builders and device vendors. The network is a leading choice for companies’ digitalization efforts due to its converged network architecture and ability to scale from 100Mbit to gigabit bandwidth as required.

CC-Link IE TSN has received broad industry acceptance since it was introduced in 2018 and the CLPA’s SPS stand will showcase how multiple companies have included it in their systems to gain competitive advantage. There will also be a comprehensive overview of how device vendors can add it to their products by leveraging a variety of industry standard development methods. Finally, a small selection of the 3,100 products already developed by 400 partner vendors will be on display, illustrating how CLPA supports the needs of a variety of applications in the consumer electronics, food & beverage, semiconductor, automotive, lithium-ion battery and other industries.

John Browett, General Manager of CLPA Europe, comments: “We are looking forward to meeting with some of our 400 partner manufacturers while also explaining the benefits of CC-Link IE TSN to new visitors at SPS this year. We believe that our “One Network. One Solution.” brand demonstrates our value in a clear, concise way and we will be taking the opportunity to explain this to as many visitors as possible. SPS 2023 was our most successful ever, so we will be looking to surpass that record. We encourage companies at all stages of their digitalisation journey to visit us on stand 5-108 to learn more.”
